Herbier Camille
From€95Complete with(Optional)
Also known as the field poppy, this scarlet red flower with silken petals often offers a splendid view when it forms large bright carpets, inspiring many painters at harvest time. Its French name "coquelicot" (poppy) comes from the cock's crest which its flower reminds us of. Its fragile silhouette that sways in the wind symbolizes ephemeral ardor, lightness and grace.
When the poppy is developed in cyanotype, its intense red gives way to a deep blue. It is then the play of transparency allowed by this flower that makes these monochrome creations fascinating.
30x40 cm
The color of the flowers will evolve naturally with time, making the charm and poetic character of real herbaria. For an optimal conservation of your herbarium, avoid the direct contact of UV rays and expose your frame in a room protected from humidity.

The flowers are still fresh when they are meticulously selected and then immortalized by a natural pressing of 2 to 8 weeks. The compositions are then assembled one by one by hand in our Parisian workshop by our team of fairy fingers. Each plant being different, all the herbaria are unique, making there their charm and their exceptional character.
