Regular watering by bathing:
- Bathe the orchid once a week in water (for 10-15min) then drain well before putting it back in its planter.
- Good ambient humidity. In summer, spray the leaves of your plant.
Starlings need a bright environment without direct sunlight. From March to September, add a dose of liquid fertiliser once a month.
After flowering, cut off the wilted flower stem above the 2nd eye (20 to 25 cm from the base).
No direct sun to avoid burning the leaves, avoid draughts and stagnant water in the pot
Pay attention to the hydration of your orchid by feeling its leaves: if they are thick, it is hydrated. If, on the other hand, you feel veins, the orchid is lacking water. A good reference point is the roots, which turn white when thirsty!
